·  KRI has a new Contract Manager – We are saddened by Gurusimrat Kaur’s departure, and wish her well at her now job.  And we are happy to introduce Puranjot Kaur from Brazil as our new contract manager.  The email for this position remains the same, [email protected].  Please reach out for any support you need regarding certificates, contracts for all your trainings, royalty payments, and any book orders for your trainings.

·  Better Living Through Kundalini Yoga – To help you promote Kundalini Yoga in your communities, we have written several short articles for the general population.  These got a lot of digital press coverage in North America, and we hope they will be useful to you as well.  We have combined these 6 articles into a single PDF document, but you can use them individually if you would prefer.  The individual articles are titled, “Find Peace During Pandemic Uncertainty With Kundalini Yoga And Meditation,” “Yogic Breathing Techniques Support Respiratory Health,” “Three Ways to Bring Compassion Into Your Yoga Practice,” “How To Use Yoga To Sleep Better During the Pandemic,” “How to Use Yoga To Engage Kids During Remote Learning,” and “How to Boost Mood And Memory At Home.”

Global Online Trainer Summit 10-13 December

Culture, Community, Communication – Healing into the Future Together.  Two tracks with alternating days for different regions and time zones.  Just Outcomes, the group hired to assist our Compassionate Reconciliation process, will be presenting and engaging with participants on the first day of both tracks.  Meet the team, get some questions answered and begin the work. Global Teachers Forum November 20-21, 2020

Hosted by KRI AND IKYTA and titled, “Emerge Together: Courageous Dialog for Connection and Change. A space for all KRI-Certified Kundalini Yoga teachers worldwide to envision a new future together –  offered in multiple languages. These conversations will utilize a format that is non-hierarchical, collaborative, respectful, deliberate, mindful, and will prioritize the process involved in deep listening, intentional speaking, and courageous creativity – with teachers all over the world.

Planning has begun for the next online, global TTEC meeting.  If you’d like to be part of planning the agenda, please email Amrit Singh.  Also, please see this planned timeline below.  Mark your calendars for April!  One of the Tracks will be April 6, 8, and 10.  The second track will be April 7, 9, and 11.


  • South American Mela February 19, 29 , 21.–  Registration open -Delivered in both Spanish and Portuguese, any of your Level 2 graduates can apply here to join the 2021 cohort.  Please pass this information on to your Level 2 students.

  • Short Update from the Office of Ethics and Professional Standards (EPS) – Check out changes to the Code of Excellence (both now and in the works), and a soon to be ready online anti-harassment training course.

  • KRI Online Digital Resource Center – KRI Presents Online Development Courses  – Stay tuned over the next few months as we transition our online courses from Sutra to a new platform. The Academy will be given discount codes to access these courses on the KRI website instead of on Sutra.

Yoga and Stress Regulation, Tolerance and Resilience: The Underlying Science with Gabrielle Lewis

Gabrielle Lewis, mental health graduate from the University of Durham and researcher, will discuss what stress is, the physiological mechanisms that are involved, as well as the research on the impact of yoga on stress, and how this can inform your students when presenting at teacher trainings.
