Level One Administration

KRI Level One, “Foundations” is a professional program in the theory and practice of Kundalini Yoga as Taught by Yogi Bhajan. It is a 220 hour course, which includes 180 hours of classroom instruction in a well-defined curriculum.

At first there may seem to be an overwhelming number of documents and policies, but running a successful and smooth Level One Program is a very big undertaking and everything here is to help and support you in hosting an amazing course!

Your contract for a Level One Aquarian Teacher Program must be submitted in your Trainer Portal.

Policies Regarding the Contract

Please be aware of the policies below for the Level 1 Teacher Training Contract:

You should submit the contract at least four months prior to the start date of your program.
Your program length must be a minimum of 6 months and 22 classroom days.
80% of a Level 1 teacher training program can be taught online without any additional approvals needed.
Trainers can APPLY to have more than 80% of the classroom hours online.
Attention to the New Level One and Level Two Pre-Recorded Video Usage and Make-Up Time Policy
All promotional material cannot be published without an approved Aquarian Teacher Level 1 Contract.
You MUST have your students fill out and sign the Registration and Release Form or a similar version of it.
You are required to have all participants sign the Certification Requirements form at the beginning of the Program. These forms are to be completed and signed by a member of the Teacher Training team when all certification requirements have been met.
Most importantly, you must be fully aware of all terms and conditions that you are legally agreeing to.

The materials for KRI Level One Teacher Training – The Aquarian Teacher Textbook & Yoga Manual – are available in Ebook form and Hard Copy format. You can get either formats through the KRI Store or any of our Global distributors.

Please note that if you need a print version of them, you should buy the Hardcopy version. The Ebook version enables you to print a few pages, but not the whole book.

The Level One and Level Two manuals are copyrighted materials managed by KRI. Any reproduction, transmission, and distribution of these materials – including photocopying or recording – without formal and written agreement constitutes copyrights violation. Unauthorized duplication is a violation of applicable laws.

Keep in mind that Two months after the commencement of your Level One Program your payment to both KRI and IKYTA and the Student Contact information are due.

Please fill in the Royalty form with all required information and upload it in the Trainer Portal, at the Royalty section of your Program.

Royalties are Payable via PayPal: PayPal.Me/KRIpayments – please, make sure to write the information of Program Number and Lead Trainer in your PayPal Transaction.

You can also pay your Royalty fee by Credit Card or Bank Transfer.

L1 Student Contact List Template

Important: Please carefully fill in the information on your Student Contact List. The program details as well as each teacher’s personal data must be correctly filled directly in the Trainer Portal or in the Template Spreadsheet. If you send us the list, please Rename it with the Program number, Trainer and Location.

Make sure NOT to use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS while entering student data in the portal or filling the spreadsheet.

If you insert the Student’s Spiritual Name in the information, be aware that it WILL APPEAR on the certificate. If the Student does not want the spiritual name in the certificate please let us know (you can also go into the Student’s recordo inside the program student’s list and uncheck the small box beside the spiritual name).

The trainer can request KRI the Level One Certificates directly in the Trainer Portal or via email, with the Contract Manager. All certificates will be sent to the trainer to Sign, Date and deliver to students when they complete all the certification requirements. Please allow us 20-25 business days to process the certificates and ship them to you, and keep in mind that shipping times can vary depending on where they are going to be delivered.
Trainer can request a certificate WITHOUT YOGI BHAJAN’s name. Please, email the contract manager with this clear statement, by the time you request your certificates. It is strongly desirable that the WHOLE group makes one choice, however, we have been able to work with punctual exceptions when necessary.
Keep in mind that it is the trainer’s responsibility to update the students’ status after certification (from pending to completed). In the trainer portal, find the students page in the program, there you will be able to change status for each student.

The Student Certification Packets are due Six weeks after the last day of your program. Please organize the required documents for each student in a PDF Document and send by email as a ZIP File.
