First, do you have a mentor who will mentor you in the Academy?
Do you meet the minimum requirements? (Read: What are the minimum requirements for an Intern?)
If yes, then email the [email protected] to have your account activated.
All levels/roles of the Academy renew their Trainer License yearly with KRI by completing the Trainer Agreement and paying the relicensing fee. Interns complete the Agreement but do not pay the fee. Each May, usually in the first week, an email reminder will go out to all members of the Academy. There is also a colored banner across each member’s Portal reminding him or her to relicense. The licensing year starts July 1st and ends June 30th the following year. A late fee will be applied after September 1st.
If you are unsure of your Trainer Portal password, go to the Trainer Portal: trainerportal.kriteachings.org  and add your username, which is your email. The Academy Administrator cannot tell you what your password is, but if you click on “Forgot Password” it will allow you to reset your password. Since the portal is directly linked to the Library of Teachings you will be resetting that password as well. Your new password will be emailed to you.
You need to add your own IKYTA membership in your Profile on your Trainer Portal. Click on your photo on top right after you sign in and then click on “View Profile”.
Then select Yoga Associations. Click on “Add Affiliation” and add your IKYTA membership for the year. The insertion of your IKYTA ID is not required but if you have it then insert it. If you pay monthly, do not add an affiliation monthly, please! Just add the information yearly. If you are a Yoga Alliance member, this information can be added here as well. You will need to “Add Affiliation” for these Yoga Associations each year. You cannot edit earlier ones. This way a record of your membership over the years is retained.
Once you are a Level 1 Professional Trainer you can qualify as a 21 Stages of Meditation Trainer by doing the following.
