Academy Accessibility and Exceptions

The Aquarian Trainer Academy’s Professional Development Committee continually evaluates how to ensure that the Academy is accessible globally to those who wish to become trainers.  With this intention, additional pathways are being explored for how to qualify both as Level One and as Level Two Trainers.

One example of this is for geographic regions where there is not much access to Level Two Teacher Trainings.  We now have a policy regarding the number of completed Level Two modules required to enter the academy in those regions.

In the past when allowances were made for unique circumstances, it was often not clear to some members of the Academy, or potential members of the Academy, that requests for consideration of a special circumstance could be made.

If at any time you or a member of your team feels that a unique consideration is needed please contact Amrit Singh Khalsa

Academy Overview

Aquarian Trainer Academy (ATA): The purpose of the Academy is to cultivate and fully utilize the talents and attribute of each individual who is called to be a Teacher Trainer, while maintaining quality and consistency in training. Through the structure of the Trainer Academy, we are striving to create coherence and credibility in the continued transmission of the teachings of the Master. This insures that future Trainers will have the necessary skill and caliber to deliver the teachings. The Aquarian Trainer Academy is dedicated to the realization of the fullest potential and contribution of each Trainer. Toward this end, we have created an orderly, yet flexible system of classification and developmental process. Each step in this process carries a specific set of qualifications, teaching roles, program roles, skills, attributes and annual licensing appropriate to that level. Please review the documents below.

→ Roles & Primary Responsibilities – Grid Format
→ Map for Moving through the Academy
→ Competency Standards by Level

One of the first things an interested applicant needs to do is to find a Mentoring Lead Trainer who will act as their mentor.

How to locate a Mentoring Lead Trainer

The Mentoring Lead is the teacher trainer who will develop trainers-in-training (TNTs) from Intern through Professional level. It is important to know that Mentoring Leads are under no obligation to accept you. Not all Lead Trainers are approved to mentor TNTs. Please ask your proposed mentor if they are a qualified Mentoring Lead Trainer. Once a Lead Trainer has agreed to mentor you, talk about your goals and go over practical details with them. The documents below will provide guidelines for this first step and open the dialogue between Mentor and Mentee regarding expectations, financial agreement, time frame, concerns and other pertinent topics. Once you have acceptance from a Mentoring Lead Trainer, follow the steps described under Entry into the Academy tab.
